Em 2004 nasceu na ilha de Santa Maria, nos Açores, o Festival Santa Maria Blues .

Nos anos seguintes, o festival cresceu de uma forma sustentada, sempre com foco na qualidade do local, da música e do ambiente.

O Santa Maria Blues é o maior festival de Blues em Portugal e um dos maiores da Europa.

Santa Maria, a Capital do Blues em Portugal, é uma marca registada.

Este festival é organizado pela Associação Escravos da Cadeinha com a produção de Trovas Soltas.

In 2004, the Santa Maria Blues Festival was born on Santa Maria Island, in the Azores.

Over the following years, the festival growed in a sustained way, always with a focus on the quality of the venue,  the music and the environment.

Santa Maria Blues is the biggest Blues festival in Portugal and one of the biggest in Europe.

Santa Maria the Capital of the Blues in Portugal, is a registered trademark.

This festival is organized by Associação Escravos da Cadeinha with the production of Trovas Soltas.
